Corpus Christi Hooks - Sports Arts & Entertainment at SEA District in Corpus Christi, Texas

The Corpus Christi Hooks are a minor league baseball team in the Texas League and Double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. The Astros purchased the club and took over operations in October 2013, but the club stayed under the direction of Reid Ryan, Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan’s oldest son. Reid was the founder of the Hooks and CEO of Ryan-Sanders Baseball when the team started play in 2005, and was hired by the Astros as team president in May 2013. The Hooks play their home games at Whataburger Field and enter their 10th season of play in 2014.
